Welcome to the Comment Picker (“App”), developed by Hevin Technoweb LLP (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

• What We Collect: Notification tokens and related settings.
  

• Purpose: To send updates, winner announcements, and alerts.
  

• Legal Basis: Based on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
  

2. Data Storage and Security

• Storage: All user data (like comments or preferences) is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. We do not store or transfer it to external servers.
  

• Security Measures: We use encryption and follow industry standards to protect your data.
  

• Data Location: Data remains on your device unless shared with Apple services (like iCloud or StoreKit).
  

• Legal Basis: To protect user data and comply with legal obligations (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
  
  

3. Permissions We Use and Why

The App may request the following iOS permissions:

• INTERNET / NETWORK ACCESS: For fetching Instagram comments and API data.
  

• NOTIFICATIONS: To send updates and winner announcements.
  

• PHOTOS / MEDIA ACCESS: For saving or sharing winner screen recordings (if applicable).
  

• MICROPHONE (if enabled): Only for recording commentary in winner selection videos.
  

• SCREEN RECORDING: Used only when the user explicitly starts a winner selection recording for transparency.
  

All permissions are requested with your consent and used strictly for app functionality.

4. Third-Party Services & Frameworks

We use third-party libraries and Apple frameworks to enhance app functionality:

• Firebase Analytics (Google): Collects anonymized data on app usage to improve user experience.
  

• Google AdMob: Displays ads that may be personalized based on anonymized data.
  

• Apple StoreKit: Handles in-app purchases and subscriptions through your Apple ID.
  

• AVFoundation & ReplayKit: Used for screen recording and video generation.
  

• UIKit & SwiftUI: For app interface and animations.
  
  

All data shared with these services is anonymized, and each complies with relevant privacy laws.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• Local Data: Stored only on your device; deleted when you uninstall the App.
  

• Third-Party Data: Managed according to the policies of Firebase, Google AdMob, and Apple.
  

• Deletion Requests: Contact us (see Section 17) to request removal of any personal data we control.
  

6. Payments and Subscriptions

In-App Purchases (StoreKit)

• Payment Processing: Handled securely by Apple via StoreKit. We never access or store your payment details.
  

• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before expiration.
  

• Free Trials: If offered, unused portions are forfeited upon purchase of a subscription.
  

• Legal Basis: Necessary for providing paid Services (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The App does not use browser cookies. However, third-party services (e.g., AdMob, Firebase) may use device identifiers or similar technologies for analytics or ads.
You can disable personalized ads in your iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.

8. User Rights (GDPR / CCPA / LGPD)

You may:
